We are proud to present a new milestone in the development of our professional community!
Nordic Music Institute is now launched — a digital gateway to Nordic instrument traditions, craftsmanship, and acoustic research.

The museum, previously part of the Musical Instrument Academy, has now been incorporated into the new vocational college, where it will serve as an important learning resource for future students. Similar to the model at the University of Leipzig, the institute consists of a museum division and an acoustics division, with experts who will also teach at the college.

This means that research, education, and cultural heritage are now brought together in one place – with a clear ambition to strengthen and preserve Nordic instrument traditions for the future.

The website will be continuously developed, and later this spring the new college website will also be launched – stay tuned!
